Für seine wissenschaftlicher Spitzenleistungen im Rahmen seiner Dissertation, welche er durch bemerkenswerte Publikationsleistung untermauert hat, erhält Dr. Juan Andrés Urrea Niño den NRW-FAIR PhD Preis.
Dr. Urrea Niño schloss seine Doktorarbeit im Jahr 2023 mit dem Thema "Optimal creation operators for charmonium spectroscopy on the lattice" an der Universität Wuppertal in der Gruppe von Francesco Knechtli ab.
Der Preis umfasst eine Urkunde und ein Preisgeld in Höhe von 3000 € sowie zusätzlich 2000 € Reisegeld. Die Preisverleihung findet auf dem nächsten NRW-FAIR Netzwerktreffen im September statt, wo auch eine Präsentation über die Arbeit stattfinden soll.

Dr. Juan Andrés Urrea Niño is awarded the NRW-FAIR PhD Prize for his scientific excellence within his dissertation, which he has confirmed with a remarkable publication record.
Dr. Urrea Niño finished his PhD thesis in 2023 about the topic "Optimal creation operators for charmonium spectroscopy on the lattice" at the University of Wuppertal within the group of Francesco Knechtli.
The prize includes a certificate and prize money of €3000 as well as an additional €2000 travel allowance. The award ceremony will take place at the next NRW-FAIR network meeting in September, where there will also be a presentation on the work.
